What Can We Expect Next from Technology in 2011?

When it comes to technology, 2010 was a really great year and because of that many are wondering if 2011 will be able to match it. Are we going to see improved mobile and non mobile devices? Trying to picture devices which are an improvement of what is available at the moment is pretty hard to do.

It was impossible to imagine some of the devices that we have now at the start of 2010 and by the end of 2011 we will probably be saying the same thing. Here are just some of the things we might be able to experience in 2011.

- Next year we are likely to see big things from Google TV. The way that we watch TV will be revolutionised by this and it is bound to have a big affect on mobile devices. Not only will we be able to watch much more entertainment throughout the day as we move around but we will also have the opportunity to participate more.

- Another application that we will see much more of in the coming months is Facebook and this is going to be much bigger in terms of technology. We may even see a device developed purely for Facebook users. Many people are predicting that Facebook is going to replace email one day and it could even put mobile phones out of business.

- There is bound to be more devices too that will use GPS to interact with out environment. Maybe we will have devices that will not only tell us exactly where to go for entertainment but also which of our social media friends will be there when we arrive.

Even if all of these predictions for 2011 technology don’t come true we will surely see some really exciting devices appearing.
