Web Games And Why There Are So Many Rubbish Ones?

Maybe I’m a bit ungrateful but there really does seem to be a lot of online games that are just rubbish. Sure, many of these games are free to play, but you usually end up wasting at least a few minutes of your life before you realise how bad they are. I don’t know how many half hours of my life I’ve wasted on waiting for games to load only to then find that they are unplayable.

I honestly don’t know how some people have the nerve to call some of these efforts games how can clunky graphics and poor responsiveness be described as a game unless the object is to annoy the player.

Some of these games would even have been shunned by kids back in the seventies and I am not exaggerating at all when I say this. With all the advances in technology in computing over the last four decades it saddens me to say that some of these games would still be perfect for the Sinclair Spectrum.

Even though some of these game developers do not have a big budget, I’m sure that they could make more effort with these games. Most of these games look as if they were put together by somebody in rush during their toilet break.

The thing that annoys me the most about a lot of these rubbish games online is that the developers put so much effort into making them sound interesting. The descriptions I often read coupled with the amazing graphics have me on the edge of my seat with anticipation to play the games.

However I am often left completely disappointed when I realise that the game is nothing like what has been described. The thing with this is that you can’t really complain about the game being rubbish because it did not cost you anything. Unless you want to complain about your waste of time and bandwidth.
