What is even better is the fact that there are many more great games due to be released during the rest of this year. Below are a number of great games which are set for release later on in 2011.

Driver – San Francisco

Some of the best games that have been released have come from the Driver series and there are a lot of people saying that the next game is going to be the best one that has ever been released. This game is set in the streets of San Francisco; those who have seen the game already say that the graphics are so realistic that you will actually feel as though you have been to San Francisco once you have played the game.

If you have always wanted to visit San Francisco then this game will not only allow you to do that but also drive around in really fast cars chasing baddies.

Mortal Kombat 9

Anyone with a passion for fighting games will be salivating at the thoughts of Mortal Kombat 9. The game play and graphics have improved so much that it is said that this version of the game will be far superior to anything that has come before.

It is hard to imagine how Mortal Kombat could get any better but apparently it has happy days for fighting.

Dead Space 2

Although outer space covers a huge area, the area of play in this game is relatively small. You have to kill a lot of really aggressive aliens from your base on a space station. This all might sound familiar but Deep Space is a scary game that will keep you awake at night.

And even when you hear the dinner bell, you are not going to want to stop playing this amazing game.
