There are now, ready to attack you and your teammates, 9 different creatures or “specimens” that you must watch out for. It is vital that you know they are there, lurking, as they will be after you and your teammates. You are able to choose the individual “perks” or achievements you would like to play with when playing in this cooperative environment. This allows you to tailor your team to best suit the situation and allow you to survive for far longer.
Though it is cooperative in nature, this is essentially a first person shooter that is played in a team oriented fashion. From the number of waves of attack, to the types of monsters that attack, there are tons of different ways that you can customize your gaming experience. There is now the ability to purchase Killing Floor dedicated server space specialized for the game. Not only does this allow for the ultimate in customization and personalization of your gaming experience, you can have up to 50 different players connected at a time!
In the newest version of the game you can create your own modifications. You can create your own new levels, once you’ve completed all the challenges of the original game. Put your creativity to the test and come up with fun and challenging new ways for people to try to figure out how to survive.
