Team Fortress 2 Characters In Detail

9 different classes all with different abilities, its own skin and individual skills and abilities along with health and movement defences. From its large community, like with CSS game servers, Team Fortress 2 has a huge array of custom maps and mods. So Team Fortress 2 game servers have been out for 2 years and the game is still as popular as it was when it came out

With three sub classes for support, defence and offence, Team Fortress 2 servers have 9 different classes in total. You don’t have to play them as those roles but they have been developed so that their weapons and skills are best used in those positions.

On Team Fortress 2 servers without an effective defence, you will lose. Having a good back line is needed to stop the scout from sneaking through your defence.

Without a proper gun you have to be skilled at this class to know how to play indirectly unless you like using the bottle to melee with. The Demoman can take out enemies using a variety of clever tricks using the games physics engine. The grenade launcher itself is a very powerful weapon and can take out classes with small health pools in just one or two grenades (scouts, medics and spies). For sentry guns hidden round corners, the grenade launcher can be very effective. Another good tactic is using sticky grenades near tight corridors or intelligence or control points. Just lay a few where they won’t be easily seen and watch the kills roll in. Try this class if you are awful at aiming, but like explosions!

Next up is the Heavy. You guessed right- this guy is the one that likes to pack a punch. His high health and most powerful gun makes up for the fact he’s the slowest of all the classes. He’ll take down the other classes very quickly. The only enemy he struggles against is his opposite number. He can take on large number of enemies at once and has a great range and wide range On the flip side, his mini gun does take a while to kick in. Once he hits you, don’t expect to move in a hurry! These guys work well when placed with someone else to help draw fire away from them so they can just concentrate with mowing people down. If you want to make an impression on game servers, pick this guy!

The engineer should normally only need to attack players when he comes under fire himself. His role is to deploy and maintain buildings that are helpful to his team. They are best known for their sentry guns which are automated turrets which can be upgraded by whacking them with the wrench. You’ll find the engineer searching the map for metal in order to do this. Dispensers placed round the map are also used to re-supply players. Teleprinters allow classes to instantly move from one section of the map to another. This may be from the spawn to an obscure place outside the enemies base. When it comes to getting their hands dirty they are not down and out with their slightly generic weapons. However they can be effective at medium range with their turrets and tend to sit in cover. Want a turret to get your kills while you sit back and relax? Then the Engineer is the class for you.
