Pink Rocking Horses And Other Such Fun, New, Toys

I though she was crazy. My daughter, that is. She wanted a pink rocking horse. A what? Do they make such a thing? Why would they make them pink? I think about how happy I would have been as a child to recve such a thing…

To appease my daughter, I start shopping online for said horse. And, though I expected to have to dig and dig for a pink horsey (and thoughts of how could I spray paint one), I come right upon a bunch of them. I had no idea they made pink rocking horses! How strange, lol.

This is so strange…the multi-colored horses. But, what I see next is even weirder–different animals come on rockers too! Cats, dogs, unicorns, elephants, tigers, wow! I wished I could have had something this cool when I was younger!

So, now I have a new predicament. Yes, my daughter loves the color pink, but she is in no way a girly girl. She will not accept a pony which is covered in bows and lace. I find a plush rocking horse. It is pink (number one requirement!), but also much more fun than some of the others.

This was the other strange thing I found, is that rocking horses come in a wild variety of sizes. From very tiny, for perhaps an 18 month old, to very large, big and sturdy enough that I could ride it (not that I would want to…).

Shipping was free (I always look further for these sites, saving $10 here and there really adds up), and came relatively quickly. Although many times when she asks me for a toy, she has forgotten about it by the time it comes, this one comes, and her face lights up. She was very happy.

She now sits on this horse for everything. To watch TV, to color, she even tries to eat while sitting on it!. Now, my biggest problem is getting her to get off of it. She has even fallen asleep on it!

I cannot help myself now, I keep going back and looking at the adult sized horseys. Maybe if I play on one, I will be as happy as my daughter? Now all I need to decide is if I want a unicorn or a Pegasus….
