PC Games And Why They Could Be A Waste Of Time

Don’t get me wrong here, I actually love gaming. But what I can’t get my head around is the attraction that people have to playing PC games as I really do think that this is just a waste of time. When it comes to consoles, you really are getting the ultimate in game play but there are still so many people who think that there is nothing better than playing games on your PC.

And it is not just the fact that they prefer PC games that bothers me, although this really does bother me; it is the fact that they continue to insist that they are the real deal when it comes to gamers. This really is just snobbery and to tell you the truth it is very annoying because there is no substance to this argument.

PC gaming is not only less enjoyable than game consoles, but it is less convenient and practical.

Consoles like Playstation have been created specifically for playing games, but a PC hasn’t. A drummer could use a biscuit tin for a drum if he wanted to in the same way that you can use a PC to play games if you want to; however do you really think the true drummer would opt for the biscuit tin if he had the choice.

If you want to be able to play your favourite games on a PC you will likely have to waste a lot of time and money adapting the machine maybe even building your own computer from scratch. There really is no need for all this hassle; it is just like trying to re-invent the wheel.

To be honest with you, there is not one game that I would prefer to play on the PC rather than the games console. I will say this, the PC gamer is very narrow minded and really should think about getting out more. They also need to look at their own arguments a bit more closely because they are deluded if they think that using a PC for gaming is going to be ever better than using a proper console.
