Numerology as the Tool to Horse Racing Prediction Success
One of the first mentions of numerology is found on a 5,000 year-old Babylonian tablet signed by a man named Hormabi. On the tablet, he expressed, “The Gods have planned our courses through the numbers concealed in our names. Hence we should name our horses and children properly.”
Hormabi had not been a philosopher, or perhaps a bookmaker, but a servant dealer. On a different tablet he states a customer, “By the numbers used by the Gods, it’s recognized that this servant will live 5 years more. To prolong his life, decide for him a brand new name and whisper it into his ear. At the same time take care that he is well-fed and his beatings are not severe.”
Some 2,000 years later the Egyptians were employing numerology to predict and bet on horse, dog and camel competitions. Soon the Greeks, who had been masters of recent mathematics, such as Algebra, and Geometry, used numerology and formulated it into a high state.
Nobody, though, ever emerged close to the accomplishments of a little-known scientist named Jeremy Masters who lived in London in the mid-nineteenth century. At the outset of a week-long festivity in July of 1862, that included daily horse races, Masters set up a board just outside the racing track. Within this board he submitted the names of the horses which he believed would succeed based on a completely new, secret method of numerology that he had figured out.
His accomplishments aren’t described in any periodicals, but they are referred to in number ofprivate journals. As outlined by Lord John Trudeau, of Wiltshire, who went to the week of horse racing events, “For three days he stood together with his board, neither describing his technique nor offering to offer it. Every day his predictions ended up being 100% accurate. About the fourth day, he didn’t appear at his usual post and we discovered later he’d been murdered the evening before.”
The crime was never solved but a bookmaker who was taking bets at the track that week, entered a short but cryptic note in his record on the night of the murder, “I have accomplished it!”
Jeremy Master’s papers were certainly not found, and just as well. If his ability to forecast with 100%accuracy was ever duplicated, sports betting would shut down once and for all. Anyone would be aware of outcomes of the race or game before it actually started and no bookmaker would ever bet against a guaranteed thing.
