- You will get the highest quality video with HDMI but not all computers have HMDI ports. One option is to choose DVI to HDMI cable.

- If you are using a HD television then you could go for DVI as this will give you really high quality video. To use this however, you need to have a DVI port on the computer and the television.

- A VGA cable is another cheap option that will work for a lot of computers; the quality won’t be as high as HDMI but it will be an improvement upon s-video.
