All that you will need are empty boxes that are wrapped in colorful gift wrappers, trash cans, and a bunch of kids that can never wait to have their hands unwrap these gifts. Pile all these colorfully wrapped gifts in a corner of the room. Divide all the excited kids into two groups. When you say the word ‘go’, each of the team needs to send a member to run out and get a gift, try to unwrap it and then shoot the wrapper into the trash can. If he or she fails to do this, the kid would need to run back again and place the wrapper inside, before the next member of the team takes the turn of unwrapping another gift.
After a few round of many tiring parlor games, these elementary school kids will need to play something while they are just sitting. For the next game, you will only be needing a large tray with cover, and at least 20 different items that are usually seen and used on Christmas.
