Casino Table Games You Shouldn’t Miss
There are many kinds of games that you could play at a casino. There are single player mechanical or electronic games such as slot machines and video poker, there are random number games such as bingo, and of course there are the table games such as roulette, blackjack, and craps.
Roulette is a casino table game where players simply try to predict where the ball will land among the numbered and colored slots of the roulette wheel. In European casinos, the roulette wheel has 37 slots, in most American casinos however, the roulette wheel has 38 slots. These slots are each given corresponding numbers and are colored alternately between red and black. These numbers and colors allow the players to make many different bets. The players can bet on the “inside”, which means that they will bet on which exact slot the ball will fall into or a small group of slots based on their location on the wheel. The players can also bet on the “outside”, which means that they will bet on what slot color the ball will fall into, or whether the ball will fall into an even or an odd slot, or they could just bet on a larger group of slots.
When you get tired of playing roulette, you can turn your attention to playing “craps”. This is a very common game of dice found in many casinos. However, this game doesn’t allow you to play against other players, only with the bank. When everybody has placed their bet, the game starts rolling. The bank calls one of the players to serve as shooter or the person who throws the dice. This means everybody is given the chance to be the shooter and hopefully when it’s your turn, you can win. In cases wherein a player refuses to be the shooter, the bank may ask somebody else to throw the dice. A fun part of this game is that each number that appears on the dice has its own nickname.
Most casino table games however, are based on card games. The most popular one being Blackjack. Blackjack is also often called “twenty one” because of the object of the game which is to reach a total of 21. This is a simple but exciting game where the player is given two initial cards on which he can draw into with the aim of getting his final two cards higher than that of the dealer’s without getting over 21. Jacks, queens, and kings are given a value of 10 while aces are given a value of 11 or 1.
Casino table games are so popular that they are the main attractions in casinos. With so many games to choose from, you’re sure to find one which suits your preference. Just remember to play smart and learn when to stop.
