A Brief Guide to Sodium Two
Sodium2- Project Velocity is the second game in the sodium series that are exclusive to PlayStation Home members. This fast paced racing game is the follow up to Sodiumone, the previous instalment. Project Velocity is rich with features like being fully customisable, connection to the Sodium Hub and a gripping soundtrack composed by Cold Storage.
The game is available both in single-player and multi player mode and in contrast to Sodium One Salt Shooter, is free of cost. In the single player version, players can practice by selecting the course on which they want to play and race against the two highest rankings among their buddies. New tracks are also added periodically to keep the game more challenging. After each race, players receive Sodium Credits dependent on how well they have played. Also on meeting some of the special objectives set by the game, further Sodium Credits can be earned.
In the single player version, players can watch how they performed through replays from various camera angles. They can also can also make any necessary changes in the garage changes to their racer.
The multiplayer version can be accessed from the multiplayer access point or the main menu. When going for the multiplayer option, players are shown to the session list, which displays an inventory of sessions. Players can choose a session from this or start a new session. You can also decide who you want to include in this session, whether those only on your friends list or all gamers.
When starting or joining an existing session, players will be brought to the pre-race lobby, where the track on which to race voted on. If a player is up for it, he should change his status to ‘Ready’. Once all of the players are ready, willing and able, they are immediately transported to the racing track and the race will then commence.
In Sodium 2, the garage is where players can make changes to their velocity racer and add new components. To be able to access the parts, players must earn XP, which will help them unlock new upgrades. Then there are other upgrades that must be purchased thru the Commerce Point in the garage.
