3 In A Row Is The Way To Go
There are loads of puzzle games on the internet these days and they are extremely popular. Literally millions of people all over the world play these games. This despite these games not offering state of the art graphics, sound or anything like that. What they do offer however are games that just about anyone can learn how to play, but which offers a good challenge to more skilled players. 3 in a row games are some of the most popular of these puzzle games.
These games work on the same basic principle, but you will run into a number of them with some interesting variations as well. These variations are not attempts to trump other versions, just to offer some fun alternatives to appeal to a larger audience.
Many of the 3 in a row games you will come across would only differ in the graphics used and would work almost exactly the same. There are however a couple of them out there with a few variations thrown into the mix. The variations include power ups, special characters and bombs to help you in your quest of clearing the stages. One of the more basic versions that I really like playing however is Crashdown and it is a simple 3 in a row game. You try to get 3 in a row and destroy them. As simple as that.
When playing Crashdown you will have a new line of tiles added to the bottom of the screen every few seconds. This will push up all the tiles and you need to make sure that they don’t reach the top of the screen. I started off playing it with the sole goal of making sure I remove any possible combination of tiles as quickly as humanly possible.
I thought I was quite a good player as I was able to get through the stages without much trouble. The problem however was that once it was game over, my scores were really bad. I tried it again and again, but still had very limited success and couldn’t really get my scores to improve. I then tried to shake things up a bit and tried to form the largest possible groups of one color and then only remove it.
The result was some huge scores, which was great. From clearing just this one large group I would get a score 3 times as big as my final scores when rushing through the stages mindlessly. So what I figured was that there had to be some or other trick to each of these games and it is fun finding them. That piece of the puzzle is half the fun.
Out of the many different online games you will find on the net, the puzzle games like 3 in a row games are definitely some of the most popular around.
